Tonight's search of former Bolingbrook Sgt. Drew Peterson is a major step forward in the case. Investigators stated in their warrant that they are seeking evidence relating to the commission of a "possible homicide," and want to take a closer look at the Peterson vehicles, among other things.
They are searching for chips or trace evidence from a blue container. The police may also seize the cars via forfeiture, although the reasons for that have not yet been fully discussed.
