Egypt on Fire: Jihadist Muslim Brotherhood Fans the Flames of Riots and Strikes

An economic and political crisis is building in Egypt. MSNBC reports that the banned group Muslim Brotherhood is taking full advantage to literally set fire to the streets. The Brotherhood is a jihadist organization that declares "Jihad is our way".












The Boston Globe reports that: "Egypt rushed yesterday to grant bonuses to workers after two days of deadly riots over high food prices and low wages racked this northern industrial city, fueling government fears that economic angst might boil over across the country. ....
Protesters tore down a billboard of President Hosni Mubarak and fought with police in clashes that left one person dead in the worst unrest since Egypt's 1977 riots over increased bread prices."

At what point does short-sighted political correctness become just plain monumental stupidity and catering to extremists?

The UK offers up a poster child for nincompoopery as judges for the Bett award trash can a kiddies' book on construction as a career. Why? It used the old folk tale of The Three Little Pigs. Tsk, tsk, the panel sniffed.

Use of that well-known teaching symbol might, just might, offend Muslims. As the Times of London tells us, the book is already an award-winner.

Published by Shoo Fly Publishing, the computer-based interactive book uses several methods to teach about construction as a career. Focusing on literacy, design technology, computer skills, creative skills, and "good citizenship", The Three Little Cowboy Builders provides multiple learning tools.

Best find all copies of the well-loved children's movie "Babe" and burn them, right now. After all, its very existence might offend Muslims--or so the PC crowd would have you believe.

Offensive? Here's what's offensive: the oppression and suppression of human beings, the subjugation of women, the routine beating and killing of women over presumed "honor" slights, the take-over of entire cities in Europe where even the police don't dare go in no matter how heinous a crime because of Muslim violence, radical Muslims infiltrating Western countries, then using our freedoms to refuse to perform jobs they sought, and oh yes: the carnage of suicide bombings. Not to mention the jihad, 9-11, and continuing plots to murder citizens in non-Muslim countries as part of a global war of terror and cultural conquest.

Straighten those problems out first, and then we'll have the time to chat about possibly, maybe, offending Muslims with a children's book about career choices. If Muslims are so easily offended by Western culture, then they would be better served by not choosing to move to and live in cultures they find abhorrent.

If this book offers any so-called "insults," the PC panel has missed the most important element of all: the Wolf. You remember him? The big bad Wolf, who hates the fact that the little pigs are building houses, so he huffs, and puffs, and blows their houses down.

Until he encounters one well-built house that doesn't fall to him. Now, there's a moral in a story.

As Pakistan's government gives conflicting stories of the cause of death for assassinated former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, and refuses outside investigatory help, Pakistan is exploding from within. Accusations of a coverup have now been joined with a flaring of ethnic tensions in this nuclear power nation.

Although the government is trying to pass off Bhutto's death as accidental while a shooter and a suicide bomber attacked her, people around the world aren't buying their story. In saying that Bhutto injured herself by falling down during the attack and hitting her head, the government is desperately trying to stop the tidal wave of declaring the truth: Bhutto is a martyr for freedom and her people, and she was assassinated in a skillful plot.



Unctously, government spokesmen have been saying how sad it is that Bhutto chose to stand up and wave at her supporters, thus leading to her falling down and causing her fatal injury. This cold, callous attempt to blame the victim while diverting attention from the government's failure to provide the reasonable security she had requested, and also distract attention from a plot, reveals why Bhutto returned home and gave her life to fight the current government.

Nuclear power, and Pakistan's people, are in the hands of duplicitous power-mongers and are at increasing risk from Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and jihadists. After Bhutto's assassination and the government's deceit, Pakistan is likely to slide backwards, thus giving terrorists exactly what they wanted.

A key question remains: why is the current government so quick to play into the terrorists' hands? Instead of shutting down investigations and turning away help, Pakistan's government should be seeking truth in an open way.

We grieve today, and join Benazir Bhutto's family, and the people of Pakistan, in mourning, Twice Prime Minister of Pakistan, Bhutto was a bright light in an ever-darkening world stalked by the terrorists and hatred of Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, jihadists, and radical Muslims.

Throughout the day, we have provided news coverage of Bhutto's tragic assassination. We intend to continue to follow this story. Bhutto, a woman of great courage and insight, was a long-time friend of the United States and the free world, without ever losing her love for her homeland and its potential.

In a region and culture that routinely devalues women, the loss of this one brave woman will carve rivers of pain and blood throughout the world. With this blow, Al-Qaeda, which has bragged that they targeted and killed Bhutto, has delivered a message to the world: we will kill those who seek to bring people out of bondage; we will kill those who dare all for freedom; we will shroud the world in hatred and violence.

The only question remaining is: will we allow these barbarians to claim death as their defining triumph, and to twist the world into a rictus of terror and pain? Benazir Bhutto said "no," and backed her passion for freedom with her own life.

Those of us who love freedom must do the same. The war on terrorism must continue if we are to have any chance of entering the 22nd century with freedom existing anywhere on planet Earth. The devils of darkness walk among us, and we must do whatever it takes to reclaim the light of the world.

Al-Qaeda Commander: We Killed Pakistan's Benazir Bhutto

Al-Qaeda's Afghanistan commander, Mustafa Abu Al-Yazid, said that the terrorist organization killed former Pakistan Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto.

"We terminated the most precious American asset," declared Al-Yazid. He phonedAdnkronos International (AKI) from a hidden base.

Video: Bhutto spoke frankly about the fact that the Taliban and radical Islamists, as well as political opponents, would try to kill her when she returned to Pakistan to fight for democracy after her exile.




Sad news from Pakistan: charismatic opposition leader Benazir Bhutto was savagely gunned down during a bombing attack that killed at least 20 today. The photo was taken just before her death.

Many believed that she had come home knowing that she would eventually be martyred. Bhutto rallied faith, spirit and resolve against the oppressive regime of President Pervez Musharraf.

Educated at Radcliff in the United States and Oxford in England, Bhutto came from a family that fought hard, and died, for freedom in Pakistan. Her father, a former prime minister, was hanged by a repressive regime.

Bhutto, a former prime minister of Pakistan, went against the tide in Islamic regions. She was the first female prime minister in an Islamist country, and served twice despite persecution.

During service as prime minister, Bhutto brought electricity to many in Pakistan--in the 1990's. She worked against corruption, and fought for health, education, and welfare improvements for the Pakistani people.

Unafraid to speak out and fight for what she believed, Bhutto had been imprisoned many times, and has been under death threats since she returned to Pakistan to lead her Pakistan People's Party (PPP). A horrific suicide bombing killed more than 100 people during her motorcade in October.

The world has lost a valiant voice; Islamic extremists have proven again that freedom, in their world view, is not an option. Bhutto was anti-terrorism, anti Al-Qaeda, anti-Taliban, and, especially as a woman leader, was a special threat to terrorists and those seeking violence and repression of others. She also wanted to assist the U.S. in finding Osama bin Laden and in stopping the illegal traffic of weapons of mass destruction by terrorists.

Torture Chamber, Mass Graves: Somber Iraq Discovery

Sometimes, it's not easy understanding what a "war on terrorism" is really all about. It's a fuzzy term, something that may seem a far cry from clearly-defined "start" points like the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.

But a chilling discovery by American troops brought the reality of terrorism and radical Islamism into sharp focus. An Al-Qaeda torture chamber in Muqdadiyah spotlights a base reality: the hatred goes beyond just philosophical "concepts" or political talking points.

The terror and brutality are up close and personal. These terrorists intend to destroy anyone or anything that is not part of their Islamic world. They torture, bomb,and murder every days. They intend to subjugate, degrade, destroy, maim and kill anyone in their path.

The pictures of the remains in the mass grave tug at the heart. These were people like you and I, people who loved, were loved, had friends and family. But they displeased the merchants of terror and hatred, and so they suffered, horribly, died, and their remains were dumped like so much garbage.

The terrorist/torturers even left behind a message. Scrawled on a wall: "Long live the Islamic State."

Tentacles of Terrorism: Hometown Invasions

Although bombings, civilian slaughter and barbaric beheadings in Pakistan may seem a long way away from U.S. and European communities, the tentacles of terrorism are poisonous and long. Linked to a common body of radical Muslim religious beliefs, fueled by hatred of the West and disdain for "infidels," and trumpeted in calls for jihad, the messages are clear: Taliban, Al-Queda, and related groups are waging long-term war against the rest of the world.

Last week, public street slaughter marked Benair Bhutto's return to Pakistan. Suicide bombers, possibly linked to a direct Taliban threat, killed 143 people and injured hundreds of others in a bloody assassination attempt.

Bhutto is the first woman to overcome the sexist ghettos of the Muslim world and capture such a high leadership position. Before her return, Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud, who reportedly commands 35,000 fighters, had previously bragged that his suicide bombers would greet her. Bhutto,who recently received another death threat, has now been prohibited from leaving Pakistan.

The attack on Bhutto's convoy sent a message: Taliban and Al-Qaeda terrorism and violence will not cease. Calling for jihad--a Muslim holy war--Taliban religious leader
Maulana Fazlullah has only begun his body count in the Swat region of Pakistan.

In the name of Mohammed, civilians were yanked out of a van in northwest Pakistan and slaughtered. Several police and security officers were captured and summarily beheaded. Although a Fazlullah aide issued the pro-forma denial and condemnation of the murders, the public statement is a direct contradiction to Fazlullah's call for jihad and his politics. He's the leader of TNSM, a vengeful Taliban group.

Among his accomplishments so far: the halting of a polio vacccination program in the Swat area, where several cases of polio have been reported. Added to that: a recent suicide bombing that killed about two dozen people and injured many more, and Fazlullah's tally of suffering and death is mounting.

The idea that daily doses of repression, hatred, death and destruction are limited to other portions of the world are central to the covert spread of radical Islamism. Regardless of whether it's Fazlullah calling for an extreme version of Sharia laws or radical Muslims forcing those beliefs on other cultures, the goals are the same: subjugation and control.

Using well-plotted interpretations of Sharia, radical Islamists in the United States have successfully challenged common-sense airport security, diverted focus from suspicious passengers to cries of racial victimization, all but shut down airport taxi service in Minneapolis, and created tempests over the simplest things, including supermarket checkouts. As Katherine Kersten points out in The Wall Street Journal, " By piggy-backing on our civil rights laws, Islamist activists aim to equate airport security with racial bigotry and to move slowly toward a two-tier legal system. Intimidation is a crucial tool."

In Amsterdam and Brussels, violence and riots among Muslim immigrant communities have become so common that entire areas are designated as too dangerous for police to enter. The politically correct NewSpeak for that is "sensitive urban area."

NewSpeak, too, has evident in the Holy Land terrorism financing trial in Dallas. Featuring a Muslim "religious" group accused of funneling charity funds to Hamas and other terrorist groups, the trial was the biggest in U.S. terror financing history.

One juror literally tried to run away. After the torturous deliberations, the trial was declared a mistrial. Although PC and NewSpeak efforts valiantly tried to present the defendants as poor victims of religious and racial persecution, it just wasn't so.

Instead, an eight-year federal investigation into the Richardson, TX Holy Land group found solid evidence of Hamas support. President George W. Bush ordered the charity shut down after agents tracked numerous links to terrorism, including:

Electronic surveillance of conversations in which Hamas leaders and Holy Land Foundation officers discussed the foundation's role in Hamas fund raising.

*Contributions made to the foundation by Mousa Abu Marzook, a former U.S. resident who was political leader of Hamas in the 1990s.

*Analyses showing that the majority of funds collected by the foundation went to support Hamas activities, including schools, hospitals and annuities for the families of suicide bombers. "

A succinct FBI memo noted: "In the United States they could raise funds, propagate their political goals, affect public opinion and influence decision-making of the U.S. government." Not only that, extreme Muslim views can re-shape efforts to fight crime. And it goes beyond just "sensitive urban areas."

As Planck's Constant points out, police now have to take special measures if they--gasp!--try to enter a Muslim residence, or arrest a Muslim. Among them:

Don't enter a Muslim home if only females are present.

If people are praying at home officers should stand aside and not disrupt the prayer. They should be allowed the opportunity to finish.

Use of police dogs will be considered serious desecration of the premises and may necessitate extensive cleaning of the house and disposal of household items.

Officers should not take shoes into the houses, especially in areas that might be kept pure for prayer purposes.

For reasons of dignity officers should seek to avoid entering occupied bedrooms and bathrooms.

Not only that, but in London, police have to notify a panel of Muslims before carrying out an anti-terrorism action. Among the items to be considered: how the raid would affect "community relations."

Police in the U.S. are also having to grapple, not with crime,but with not offending Muslims even if a crime has been committed. The U.S. Department of Justice has released special training materials for dealing with "Muslim Americans."

As best I recall, the U.S. government has survived for hundreds of years without making "special rules" for any one group. Why is it now so important that law enforcement be literally handcuffed when dealing with one special interest group?

Because the tentacles are long. Because the U.S. has a culture of accepting differences, we are at high risk to be undermined, bit by bit, by a culture and belief that intends to destroy the decadent West and the "infidels."

Because there are political leaders and groups who, wanting to hop on the PC band wagon, have literally caved in to preposterous demands. Better to sell out your country than to risk being called "racist" or "discriminatory."

The solution is simple: if you wish to come to the U.S., do what every other immigrant group has done: adapt to the existing culture. If you are not willing to do so, then return whence you came.

But putting that solution into action will be hard, given PC, NewSpeak, and the prostituting of freedom to political and religious groups who have only one goal in mind: destruction. Whether it be by bomb, riots, or demands that investigations and arrests be done their way, the goals are exactly the same.

Take another look at the photo with this post. If the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and their political allies will do this to their own countrymen, what do you think they will do to infidels? In the long run, the terrorist acts of 9-11 will be proven to be only the beginning of a long, multiple-front war on Western culture and beliefs. And most of the gambits will be waged bit by bit, eroding even common sense applications of normal community activities, from policing to schooling.
